Ryan Bartley

I began my playing days in the Minor Baseball system in Owen Sound, before moving on to play in the Premier Baseball League of Ontario, for the Welland Renegades. From there, I went on to play NJCAA Division II baseball for Baltimore City Community College, where, as a two way player, I was selected to the NJCAA Region 20 All Star team in 2005. When I returned from college, I played two years in the Intercounty Baseball League for the Stratford Nationals. Throughout this time, I also began playing in the North Dufferin Baseball League (NDBL), where I have now spent 20 years playing.

Robert Doyle

Hey everyone! My name is Robert Doyle and here’s a little get to know me. I was born in London Ontario and grew up playing baseball there before moving to Owen Sound early 2024. Baseball was a no doubter for me growing up. I played every sport but was always fully committed to the greatest sport on the planet, baseball. Over my 29 years, most of my life was spent on a ball diamond. I have learned so much from this game, mentally and physically. I have such a passion and love towards baseball that I want to pass down to the younger generation and to make you a better player and to be the best version of YOU that is possible.

I grew up playing baseball in London, where over my entire minor ball career, my team the London Tecumseh’s won the league championship every single year. From there I was offered multiple scholarships to play ball in the states. I took an offer to play D2 Juco in North Dakota which unfortunately fell through due to personal issues. This then lead me to play at Fanshawe College in London. I played 1 season there winning Rookie of The Year, First Team League All-Star, 2nd in OCAA Playoffs and won a National Championship. I have always been a 2-way player and over the season I hit .317 while having a 0.42 ERA. From there I went on to play 5 seasons of semi-professional in the Intercounty Baseball League for the London Majors and in my final season there, we won the Championship. I took 2 years off due to shoulder problems but after moving to Owen Sound, I started playing baseball for the Owen Sound Baysox in the NDBL. My first season with them, we won the league Championship and followed it up by a 2nd place finish in 2025.

I have high level experience pitching and playing the outfield/infield and I want to be able to pass on all the experiences and knowledge I have. My goal here with Diamond Baseball and Fitness is to make you into the best athlete you can be, while having fun and falling in love with the same game I have loved my entire life. It doesn’t matter if you’re new to baseball or have been playing your entire life, I want to be someone to help push you to that next level and to help you strive to be better than you were the day before!

Nate Kramer

Nate Kramer grew up playing minor baseball in Owen Sound and after spending ten seasons playing for Kincardine, returned to his hometown to pitch for the Baysox in the North Dufferin Baseball League (NDBL). He is a key player for the team and has pitched numerous complete games, including the 2024 and 2025 NDBL championship series.
